Phnom Penh

Food and Price
The food is good. The price is reasonable. There were 6 of us. Two of them ordered their own
food. The four of us shared several dishes:

Butter beef
It was a very interesting dish. It was slices of seared beef topped with cilantro and onions and special sauce. It was tasty.

Seafood soup
We ordered a large soup because there was so many of us sharing the dish. It was loaded with chunks of vegetables and lots of seafood, including squid, shrimp and fish. It was very comforting to have a bowl of soup when it is cold outside.

Rice with chicken and shredded pork
We wanted something with rice. This was a good combination because there was a bit of a few different types of meat. This dish also came with a side soup.

Chicken wings
This restaurant is known for their chicken wings. It is deep fried wings and you dip it in Vietnamese sauce which is made from lemon juice and salt and pepper.

Seafood with house sauce
This dish sounded good. It was seafood baked in their special coconut sauce. It was a bit too spicey for me. It wasn't as good as I expected.

It is kinda a ghetto atmosphere. This restaurant has been around ever since I have been in Vancouver (which is quite a long time). I don't come here that much. The last time was a few years ago. They have some pictures of Phnom Penh to give it some atmosphere. It was busy whe we got there. We didn't make reservations. When we got there, we sat and ate at a table and give them back the table for their next reservation. It kinda felt rushed but it was ok, we then went out for bubble tea afterwards.

They have Chinese servers. The service isn't that great. I guess I don't expect good service at a place like this.

Overall Experience
I would give it a 2 out of 5. Food is good. Price is reasonable. Service isn't good. Atmosphere isnt great.
